I have already written that I applied my bank account statement. It was a part of the supporting documents of my Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa application on Stage 2. At the same time, I got one more question about this topic.
“Although maintenance funds in the form of a bank statement are not required as a supporting doc and as you also emphasised on your website that it is optional. I hope this will not affect the outcome of the stage 2 decision as I plan not to submit a bank statement?”
Following the central philosophy of Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa route – your main asset is not material; this is your talent in a digital field. It is impossible to measure it by current bank account status. Talents are mediocre sometimes :).
Hence, the absence or existence of bank statement in your application does not influence directly on the outcome of your and your dependents’ Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa applications.
Do not overthink about this option if you do not intend to attach it.
In case you want to show your financial abilities – keep the high standards. Please, provide the original bank statement on the headed paper for the last three months. It is better to offer it in English. Or you need to attach an official translation. Your bank account statement in Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa Application has to be a trusted document. Then it will bring its beneficial value to your visa application.
