Evidence of Employment Contract is a phrase that makes everyone sad. Because it is not completely clear: what is this? The employment contract by itself? A letter from HR about the contract? Or a letter from the CEO about this fact?

What is Evidence of Employment Contract?

In brief, this is the extract of your Employment Contract. But it’s still complicated because the word “extract” is the same pleasure as “evidence”.

Extract of Employment contract is the collection of main paragraphs of your employment contract. It gives the overall feeling of your role and responsibilities.

Ideally, you must provide this document. However, if you struggle to make an extract – then try other ways. Like to ask your HR or CEO to sign you a letter with the main facts about your employment.

However, in this case, you must clearly put as many facts into the draft of this letter as possible. I have a Sample of Evidence of Employment Contract in Samples of Documents, check it if you need it.

Amount of Evidence

“Dear Andreii should I provide all my experience documents such as employment contracts and employment certificate? Or I need to provide the last two positions ?”

Exceptionally Talented Reader of Blog

It is up to your consideration of how many extracts of employment contracts to attach to your visa application.

But I added the most relevant, recent employment contract. I attached its extract. The main reason for this was the limit of documents. My contract was long but supporting documents should be no more than 10 in total number.

And again -there are some “ifs”. For example, you have worked in eight places. Then you decided to provide evidence of employment contract from all jobs. Is it relevant to your future exceptional promise or exceptional talent status?

I don’t think so. Sure, it does not reject the pure idea. But don’t forget: you have just 10 supporting documents. You need to prove other criteria.

Type of Evidence of Employment Contract

“What kind of document I need to provide? (Contract, yearly income certificate, employment certificate, monthly salary)”

Exceptionally Talented Reader of Blog

Extracts of Employment Contracts are one of the most popular documents. They prove the experience of work in digital technology. As well as the amount of salary, key responsibilities, a period of work at a particular company and your job location.

However, you must remember one essential thing. This evidence of employment contract must have not only the correct title of your position and salary. They must include the location of work, details about the company and signatures of all parties. You must provide a scanned copy of them. Without any Photoshop editing or other types of correction.

Finally, I must tell you personal insight. Evidence of Employment Contract tells so many aspects of your professional level! In my opinion, extracts from employment contracts are truly excellent. They demonstrate who you are. Hence, as I mentioned above – I applied this information too.

In brief, I attached only two extracts. In particular, from my current and past job. I thought about the content and amount of significant information. As a result – both of them were accepted. They were appropriate supporting documents for criteria of Exceptional Promise.

However, if you do not know how to make an extract of the employment contracts – do not worry too much.

There is a plan B for this situation.

Your yearly income certificates might also be useful. They contain most of the required information which I mentioned above. Sure, you will not have any work duties on the slip. And in many cases, they will not contain any signature. But they are working option for Key Criteria as well.

Employment Contracts, Company Certificates, etc.

“I have a limited company in the UK called COOLEST TECHNOLOGIES LTD. Can I submit my company documents such as company certificate?”

Exceptionally Talented Reader of Blog

Having a company in the UK or somewhere else does not influence on the visa application. This is one of the main thing, declared by Tech Nation. That is not a secret: it is quite easy to do business in the UK. Particularly, to register a company.

But the main point behind the pure idea of working at your own company is your earnings at this company. As a result, this is one of the most essential parts. And, simultaneously, the most sensitive moment of our fairy tale of Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa.

To clarify, please, remember – the more you earn, the higher level of expertise you have. This is the general rule.

Hence, if you are doing good business with dozens of thousands of pounds in your bank account – this is good. However, yes, millions are better :). But still, thousands and own business are amazing!

Then it might be reasonable to add information about this company. And your role there as well. Otherwise, think twice. If you need my support – let me know, I will try to help you.
