I got a question about the bias in the Endorsement Review by Tech Nation. Surely, I must repeat that Talent Visa Help Blog does not have any link to the Tech Nation. However, even this circumstance gives me enough knowledge to answer this question.

Bias in the Endorsement Review – Does It Exist?

Initially the question was the following.

My endorsement for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa was denied this week and I have requested for a review. Do you think the review will succeed, knowing that same competent body Tech Nation will do the review? Is any bias in the Endorsement Review by Tech Nation?

In My Opinion – Not At All

Answer: “Hi. Thank you for sharing your situation and asking your question.

Yes, unlucky applicants who don’t get their Endorsement can apply for a review.

In brief, it’s a great procedure! Personally, I know up to 10 people in our community of Tech Nation Visa Alumni. They all had successful review after the Endorsement Review. In other words, they went through the whole procedure of appeal. Then, finally, they got their Endorsement after the review.

Tech Nation is always quite a supportive body for Global Talent Visa applicants. Hence, I believe there is no bias in Endorsement Review by Tech Nation

Main aspects of Endorsement Review, managed by Tech Nation

In brief, there are a couple of key aspects of the review procedure. Hence, they may impact on the decision:

  1. An applicant cannot attach any new documents. It’s impossible to add any new proof to his or her existing Tech Nation Visa application, which was not endorsed
  2. Endorsement Review is free of charge. You can get it upon your request. You need to submit a special form. As a result, you will get a decision within 14 days. In worst cases, you’ll get it in 28 days.
  3. Appeal for the non-Endorsement decision has its own time limits. You have the only deadline in 28 days. You need to count them after the date of the unhappy email in the mailbox.
  4. Surely, the people, who are responsible for Review, were not involved in the initial process of Endorsement.

Knowing this, I am sure there is no conflict of interests between the Endorsement Panel and Reviewers.

Hence, you can expect a fair and reasonable decision for your visa application.
