I know how bad you feel now. Applicants who get Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Rejects are almost the saddest people on the planet. Moreover, I know how much efforts you put into each field to fill and document to attach. However, it is too early to give up. Moreover, you have a choice of what to do. Let’s consider all of the options.
Does life after Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Rejects exist?
Definitely, this is a very sad day of your life. You got an email from the Home Office. It says that you are not endorsed by the designed body. Actually, the end of the world. And the death of all dreams about the UK. Or… not?
I think it is too early to give up. Surely, you have this option. You can to be unhappy and live with this decision forever. But if you have more interesting options, why not to try?
In other words, you can reject your own Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Rejects :). I will tell you about two methods. Your task is to choose the most relevant one.
Apply for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Endorsement review
I do not want to repeat my own thoughts. I wrote a long article about Endorsement review as the next step of talent visa rejection.
Still, I believe it will be relevant to point your attention to the following points:
1. Official Endorsement Review Guidelines
If you want to read the initial documents, go to the Home Office website. Firstly, read their Global Talent Guidance. Particularly, there is a part of Endorsement Review on page 22. Hence, go there directly.
Secondly, check the actual form. This is a document, which you need to apply for your Endorsement Review. The form is provided by Home Office here.
I must say that this is the end of the official guidance. Tech Nation does not provide any guidance. However, they say on the website:
Unsuccessful Stage 1 Applications
If your application for endorsement is unsuccessful and you think that a mistake has been made, you can ask the Home Office to request that Tech Nation checks the decision by means of an Endorsement Review. Full guidance on Endorsement Reviews can be found in the official guidance.Tech Nation Visa Guide, The application process
2. No more than 28 days
Don’t forget – you have just 28 days to apply for Endorsement Review after Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa rejects. Hence, carefully find a date of the decision.
This is not the date, when you got an email. And, surely, this is not a day, when you read the sad news. Find the date of your rejection letter on top of the letter. Then add 28 days and you will get a deadline. This is the latest day, when you can change things and apply for the review.
3. More Facts but Less Emotions and Tears
When you will fill the Endorsement review form, follow these rules:
- don’t link to evidence, not attached to your initial talent visa application;
- write less adjectives and keep your emotions with yourself;
- specify 2 – 5 main facts about you, assessed wrongly. Build your arguments only on them.
- don’t try to write any fear appeal. It will simply not work. And you cannot go to court with Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa rejects.
- be polite and understanding. Write about mistake but assume it was not deliberate.
Finally, if you feel that you need support with your Endorsement Review form, write to me. This is a new kind of proofreading :).
Surely, I cannot guarantee anything and a miracle. But at least can try to point your obviously weak statements.
