Visa fees not paid by an applicant

Visa fees in Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa application paid by someone else, not you

As of now (November 2018) Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa fee is £608 (£ 456 on the Endorsement Stage and £152 on the Visa Stage). The applicant must pay them to process the visa application further. However, shall the applicant pay these sums by himself? Are visa fees not paid by an applicant  real?

My potential employers in the UK intend to pay for my Stage 2 visa fee and they have requested that I provide them with the available options for payment. Do you have any idea of how a potential employer can pay for an applicant visa fee on the Visa4UK website?

Initially, Home Office does not offer an alternative. There are no obvious ways to pay fee for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa by someone else, not an applicant. This is logical and straight forward.
However, I think about the most relevant way how your future employer can pay for your visa application. The only idea is payment through sending you this money to the bank account (and yes, there are banking fee for this).
You need to pay visa fee and healthcare surchage (IHS payments) via website. Truly speaking, it has to be done in quite a fast manner. Moreover, the payment pages are redirected from the main Tier 1 visa application. Hence, I am not sure the redirected links will work properly if you will send them to someone else.

At the same time, I suggest that there is an exceptional case. If your employer is a flexible and fast-working person and you trust them so much, you can share your login details with him. He can try to pay visa fees for your talent visa application, being logged as you. However, mind the obvious risks! Honestly, I recommend this way only if you cannot use any other option.
